Celebrities With Slogan T-Shirts

Expressive Messages On T-Shirts

It started off as a standard form of marketing around the 1970´s by companies like Coca- Cola and Disney. It didn´t florish though until the 1980´s when T-shirts with bold slogans were popular in the UK.

Around the late 1980´s and the 1990´s T-shirts with projections of designer names became really popular to teengers and young adults the main reason for this was because they were inexpensive but also they where decorative. Here are some of the examples of designer T-Shirt branding:
  • Calvin Klein
  • FUBU
  • Ralph Lauren
  • And more
They also included representations of rock bands, pop-culture, reference licensed T-shirts and more.

During the early decades of the 21st century  we saw a renewed popularity of T-shirts with slogans and designs with humorous and ironic slogans . It became even more more popular when celebrities started to wear them and when they started to embrace them. Celebrites include:
  • Britney Spears
  • Paris Hilton
  • and more

Even to this day T-Shirts with slogans are still very popular.
